Our Approach to T-Navel Valve Technology

The T-Navel Valve is attached to sealed packaging containers to prevent expansion or rupture of the package, while also blocking the intrusion of outside air-thereby effectively preserving food quality.

To achieve both reliable gas release and desired airtightness, we have optimized the material, shape, and opening pressure of the rubber stopper.

The valve releases gas according to the internal pressure of the container.
When the internal pressure drops, it automatically returns to a sealed state and thereby prevents outside air from entering and protecting the quality of the contents.

Approximately 50 million of our T Navel valve units are used annually by coffee and miso manufacturers in Japan and China.

Features of the T-Navel Valve

01

Features of the T-Navel Valve

The rubber stopper is made from a highly elastic material that not only ensures stable gas release and sealing performance but also operates at a low opening pressure.

It is heat-sealed to the inside of the container.
Prevents valve detachment during distribution and intentional removal of the valve.

Manufactured in a clean environment under precise quality control. All products are tested 100% for functionality and undergo comprehensive visual inspection using camera systems before shipment.

02

Gas venting mechanism

By heat-sealing the gas venting mechanism to the inside of the container, the valves enable stable gas release and provide high airtightness whilst preventing outside air intrusion.

When gas generation increases internal pressure to the opening threshold, the edge of the rubber stopper lifts and releases the gas.
After the gas is released and the internal pressure drops below the opening threshold, the elasticity of the rubber stopper returns it to its original shape, thereby resealing the container.

The combination of the rubber stopper and silicone oil ensures airtightness and blocks outside air from entering the container.

FAQ

Q1. How should the product be installed?
A.Heat sealing between the sealing surface and the container is recommended.
Q2. Is any processing required when installing?
A.Yes. A through-hole must be created at the sealing position to allow gas venting.
Q3. Is there a recommended material for the sealing surface?
A.Since polyethylene is used for the outer resin component, polyethylene is also recommended for the sealing surface.
Q4. What if I am unsure whether heat sealing is possible?
A.Please feel free to contact us; once we confirm the material and usage conditions, we can advise regarding feasibility.
Q5. Can this product be used with liquid contents?
A.Not advisable — the seal depends on the surface tension of silicone oil, which may be removed when exposed to liquids.
Q6. How are product specifications and safety handled?
A.A delivery specification document is issued at the start of business to clearly define product specifications.
